AuraUI

AuraUI privacy policy

In short

AuraUI collects no personal data. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us. The app talks only to the Open WebUI server you sign in to.

Your Open WebUI server

Your chats, notes, files and settings live on the Open WebUI server you choose, and are handled by that server under the rules of whoever runs it. AuraUI sends your messages, attachments and requests only to that server. Depending on how it is set up, the server itself may use other services, such as AI model providers, web search or image generation; its administrator decides that.

On your device

Your password is sent only to your server, to sign in, and AuraUI does not keep it. The session your server returns is stored in the Keychain on your device. AuraUI also keeps on your device the server address, your preferences, your Image Studio history and a cache of what it shows (for example images), to be faster. Signing out removes the session and the cache.

Microphone and dictation

When you dictate, AuraUI uses the microphone only while you record. The speech is turned into text either on your device, with Apple's speech recognition, or by your Open WebUI server's speech-to-text, as you choose in the settings. Reading answers aloud uses your device's voices or your server's text-to-speech.

Photos and files

AuraUI reads only the photos and files you choose to attach, and sends them to your server with your message.

No advertising, no tracking

AuraUI contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and shares no data with anyone. We have no server that receives your data.
